As I have mentioned all week, I now beleive that a positive attitude results from smelling the roses! The apostle Paul sets a great example. If anyone had a reason to have a negative attitude, it was Paul. Among other challenges, he had been in prison and beaten, but through all this, he remained positive — he focused on good things rather than bad things. Paul walked out the attitude of the verse below and knew that God used everything in his life for good, even when suffering greatly for the cause of Christ. As I mentioned on Monday of this week, our challenge is to believe in God, that He works all things together for good to those who love Him — no matter what happens.
TweetRomans 8:28 (NIV)
8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.
