As we open ourselves to God to completely rebuild us from a broken state, I believe we need to start having “Black & White” thinking. I’ve discussed this before, but it seems to be more and more relevant as I find my identity in Christ. As we mature in life or as we rebound from a broken place, we develop new ideas, opinions and ways of thinking. If we have a total awareness that those ideas are either of God or satan, we can start to discern the Holy Spirit’s leading. Remember, everything originates from one or the other. A broken state is a great place to start recognizing that clarity. We are always subject to a power greater than our own, we just need to make sure we understand which authority we are under!
