The fact is that God does not want us to carry His burdens, but so many of us choose to take them on anyway. We like to create things so we can take credit for the outcome (when they are positive). I honestly can’t think of many things I’ve been involved in where I didn’t think I could make it better (or great) and then took that particular project in the way I thought it needed to go. There are several reasons that I find myself doing things that way. 1. I’m visionary. 2. I’m prideful. 3. I don’t like to submit to others and often want to do things MY WAY. When you are used to being in charge, like me, you can easily find yourself stressed all the time thinking the outcome is up to YOU!
