Neither Don or Shannon Patin understood why they needed to move to Virginia at that time, but God had a plan. On March 11. 1995, Shannon was destined to lead Molly to Jesus so that so many others would also be touched by God. Don and Shannon’s obedience was their moment of truth! As they surrendered to God’s will, they realized they were not giving up on their family and home in New Orleans, but they were giving in to God’s will for their lives! We must have the firm desire to surrender ourselves to the will of the Father at all costs! If we refuse to surrender, we will be led astray and away from His perfect will that ultimately leads to unhappiness and strife.
