For the last week, I’ve been speaking about my OWN identity crisis. I may sound like I’m being repetitive, but I can’t seem to shake this subject. I was watching the X Factor on TV last month, when I started to think about people in my sphere of influence that have the “X” factor. Who really has “IT”? That special something that attracts other people and makes somebody seem to have such confidence. Molly had “IT”, but I can honestly only think of a few other people I know who have“IT”. People who have “IT” are really comfortable in their own skin. People that are flowing in their God-given giftings. So why don’t more people have “IT”? Do you have “IT”? Paul had “IT”!
Philippians 3:4-7 (NIV)
3:4 though I myself have reasons for such confidence. If someone else thinks they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more: 3:5 circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee; 3:6 as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for righteousness based on the law, faultless. 3:7 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.
