I have not always been a big proponent of the Church. Having had some negative experiences with different churches as a young believer, I was convinced that it wasn’t too important to have a solid and singular church home. The more time I spend in one church, even though it all the way in Manassas, I realize that it is important to have a church you can call home. God speaks to me regularly through Pastor Baird’s messages. Often times, I wonder how Pastor Baird got into my head because he preaches a sermon that is so close to home! One of the reasons that I receive so easily from Pastor Baird is because we’ve been at The Life Church so long and I feel safe and open to hear. Even though, like people, churches are not perfect, it’s important for us all to find one, get comfortable and listen for God to speak through YOUR church!
