Being in business for almost 25 years and having only marginal success has finally made me realize that my way is definitely the wrong way of doing business. Most would say that my business was a success, and from a worldly perspective, it was. I had a nice building, twenty employees, we were growing each year, I kept taking more money and buying newer and bigger houses, but it was all just empty pursuits. I’m so tired of chasing those shallow dreams. Everything that I have chased has been meaningless. The things that were right in front of me (my family and my wife), I took for granted. Don’t take God’s gifts for granted to pursue a passion that simply plays to your selfish desires!
