As we get past another holiday and look forward to a new year, I am reminded of the new identity we should all cherish as children of God. During this long challenging year, I have had the pleasure to challenge many people that I would not have had the opportunity or boldness to talk to in the past. Everyone wants to know “how I am doing?”. They really don’t understand how I am holding up and oftentimes, I wonder myself. In reality, the only thing that has gotten me through 2011, is God! Without Him, I would be in a fetal position in the corner of my room. Because of this crazy year, I’ve had to search out God and fully engage Him and the understanding that I AM HIS CHILD and HE LOVES ME and CHERISHES that relationship.
