What Does YOUR Bible Smell Like?

I’ve really been convicted lately to simply meditate on God’s Word and not simply turn to it, to answer a specific question.  I want (and expect) God to speak to me through His Word and the only way that will happen is if I continue to spend more time in it.  It may be distorted thinking and not theologically correct, but I often feel as if Molly is speaking to me through the Word.  The other night I was reading and as I often do, I held the Bible up to my nose and took a big WIFF!  The other gift that Molly left me is her smell Her Bible SMELLS like her! The first time it hit me, I fell apart, but over time, I have really come to appreciate what she left me (in WORD and SMELL).   I thought that night, that I would like MY Bible to smell like me one day.  Wouldn’t it be cool to be so intimate with YOUR copy of God’s Word that it actually smelled like YOU?  Molly is one of those few people that spent that kind of time with God’s Word and truly set an amazing example.

What does YOUR Bible smell like?

2 Corinthians 2:15 (NIV) For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.
