So what’s the big picture with all my talk about destiny decisions and trusting God? Basically, I’ve been talking about successful living. As I’ve mentioned before, success to the world is accumulating wealth. Serving GOD can lead to material wealth but overwhelmingly, the ultimate wealth a person accumulates is by obediently serving GOD with a personal, intimate relationship that they build with Him. Our focus is on the Spiritual success while obediently serving Jesus. The real big picture is not only what happens in this life, but also what happens in the next life. The next life in heaven is nothing but a continuation of this life that we are living down here on earth. But there is one main difference. This life on earth is but for a very short period of time and the life we will be living up in heaven will be forever. Remember, everlasting life is a present-tense possession. It’s not something that begins when we get to heaven.
