So, why do we need to stay so busy? I know I’ve talked about this before and the words control and fear come to mind. One of the revelations I had lately is that PRIDE also plays a big part in keeping us busy. Why, if we don’t do things ourselves, they will never get done right, correct? No, if they need to get done, things will probably happen even if you are not involved. In the past, I have found that I was just being too busy doing seemingly important and selfish things rather than seeking and doing God’s will. It’s even more convicting now, because I wasted SO much time on MY OWN agenda and it not only took time from God, it took time from Molly that I can never get back.
